Tour's Itinerary
  • Day 1 Departure

    Today we board our flights to Lisbon with meals and beverages served aloft

  • Day 2 arrival in Lisbon

    Upon arrival in Lisbon, we are met by our guide and transferred by a motor coach to our hotel. Checkin, dinner and overnight(D)

  • Day 3 Exploring Lisbon and Fatima

    This morning we enjoy a panoramic tour of Lisbon to see Belen Tower, Jeronimo Monastery, and St. Anthony Church. Then we continue to Santarem to visit the Eucharistic Miracle Church. Celebrate Mass. Continue to our hotel in Fatima for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 4 Spiritual Connection in Fatima

    This morning we visited Fatima, where Our Blessed Mother visited three shepherd children, Lucia Santos and her cousins Bl. Jacinta & Bl. Francisco Marto, in 1917. We participate in the Rosary & Candlelight Procession.

  • Day 5 From Fatima to Porto and Santiago de Compostela

    Today we depart Fatima and continue to Porto to see the wine factory and enjoy sampling the best wine. We visited the Church of St. Francis before driving to Santiago de Compostela for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 6 Discovering Santiago de Compostela

    This morning we begin our visit to Santiago de Compostela, one of the most famous shrines in the world, where the tomb of St. James (brother of St. John the Divine) was discovered. St. James was given the task of spreading Christianity in the distant Hispanic lands and is known as the first pilgrim. Since the discovery of the tomb, numerous miracles have taken place here and every year thousands of faithful gather on July 25 to celebrate the Feast Day. We begin with a visit to the Cathedral of St. James, one of the finest examples of architecture in all of Europe. As pilgrims, we have the opportunity to climb the stairs behind the high altar to visit the crypt where the relics of St. James are preserved, touch the central pillar (Portico de La Gloria), view the 'botafumeiro', and admire the wealth of medieval art inside the Cathedral, before visiting the cloister museum. Enjoy a stroll on your own through the beautiful streets of Santiago de Compostela, the city of the apostle, full of historical buildings and others. Dinner and overnight in Santiago de Compostela.

  • Day 7 Exploring Oviedo and Santander

    Depart Santiago this morning and drive to Oviedo, the capital of Asturias region. Here we will visit the Cathedral which houses the tombs of Asturian kings and the Camara Santa, a restored 9th-century chapel containing expressive statues of Christ and the Apostles. We then head to Santander for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 8 Tribute to Saint Ignatius and Journey to Lourdes

    This morning we depart hotel and drive to Loyola, the hometown of Saint Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits. Here you will visit the Basilica and the tower house where he was born and lived. We continue to Lourdes for dinner and overnight.

  • Day 9 Day of Spirituality in Lourdes

    This day we start with a Mass at the Grotto of Massabielle, where our Lady appeared to Bernadette in 1858. Later, we took our official group photo in front of the Basilica, followed by our guided tour of Lourdes. The sanctuary of the Basilica of St. Pius X, the world's largest underground church. The Basilica, The Baths, where thousands of miraculous cures have taken place is the most respected shrine and sanctuary in France. In the afternoon, our group will join the Blessed Sacrament Procession and Blessing of the Sick (if available on that day).

  • Day 10 Returning to Fatima

    08/16-After breakfast we check out. Transfer to the train station, from where we depart on the TGV train to Paris ( approx 4.5 hrs trip ) Once we arrive, we enjoy a panoramic tour to see the Arch de Triomphe, the Chaps Elysees, and the Tour Eiffel, Mass can be celebrated at Selected church. We checked in at our hotel. Dinner and overnight

  • Day 11 Paris Pilgrimage: Tracing Sacred Sites

    After breakfast, we start at Rue de Bac church for Mass, where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Saint Catherine Labouré and requested the creation of the medal which came to be known as the Miraculous Medal. Then we head to St Vincent de Paul church, built in the 19th century on the site of the ancient Saint-Lazare enclosure. The enclosure was occupied by Saint Vincent de Paul and the Congregation de la Mission from 1632 to 1793 - it was here that he had lived and worked. After lunch, we will continue our tour to see a stunning example of Gothic architecture that took two centuries and armies of medieval workers to complete - The Notre Dame Cathedral (outside) and then we visit Sainte-Chapelle "Holy Chapel", and its stained glass, which is considered the best of its type in the world.

  • Day 12 Architectural Wonders: Versailles and Chartres

    This morning we leave to travel about 11 miles southwest of Paris to visit Versailles, best known as the site of the magnificent Palace of Versailles, built by King Louis XIV during the 1600s and was the royal residence for more than 100 years. We then continue to Chartres to visit the Notre-Dame de Chartres (the Cathedral of Our Lady of Chartres). This Cathedral is considered one of the finest examples in all of France of the Gothic style of architecture. Return to Paris in the late afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.

  • Day 13 Farewell, France

    Today we bid France farewell and board our flights home, carrying with us memories that will last a lifetime.
